MGA believes in supporting the community in which we live and work.

Kids today require every tool available to set them up for success. By investing in our children and community, we hope to play a small role in helping them achieve their goals.

We also understand that everyone has a role in helping promote the drive towards equality of women and girls in sport. It is on all of us to further develop an ecosystem where women’s professional sports can begin to thrive.

Read on as we share some of the initiatives we have undertaken to help nurture and develop the leaders of tomorrow.

CAN Fund #150Women Pave the Road Campaign

When CAN Fund #150Women challenged Canadian transport companies to step up and offer financial support, we were more than happy to answer their Instagram appeal. With a vision to provide much-needed financial support to female athletes who compete for Canada on the world stage, their Pave the Road campaign asks donors to symbolically purchase 1km segments of all 5,514 kilometers of the Trans-Canada Highway. With massive gaps in pay and funding, MGA understands that it is on all of us to help drive women’s sports towards equality. To donate to their campaign, click here.

Our company understands the impact sport plays in building stronger, healthier, happier, and safer communities. We also appreciate the time, effort, and financial assistance required when it comes time to host a major sporting event. So, it was with great enthusiasm that MGA International Logistics was excited to provide support for the 2022 Minto Cup, held at Brampton, Ontario’s CAA Centre. As the pre-eminent symbol of Junior ‘A’ lacrosse excellence in Canada, the Minto Cup is awarded annually to the national junior men’s champion.

Toy Movement Nunavut Mission

Even in a prosperous country like Canada, there are still many at-risk communities with children living in impoverished conditions. So in May 2018, The Toy Movement partnered with two minor hockey organizations, the Mimico Canadiens and the Rankin Inlet Minor Hockey Association, to bring toys to kids in Canada’s far north. MGA International Logistics – in conjunction with Calm Air, the RCMP and volunteers from the community – was proud provide logistical support to aid in the delivery of these toys for kids most in need. MGA International Logistics is thankful for all of our loyal customers who place their trust in us. As a token of our appreciation, we decided to mount a social media cause campaign to raise funds for the Daily Bread Food Bank. Also headquartered here in South Etobicoke, Daily Bread has grown to become one of Canada’s largest food banks – supplying food to nearly 200 food programs across Toronto. The campaign, which ran the week leading up to Thanksgiving Day 2019, enabled us to generate significant funds, which we were pleased to donate to Daily Bread.
